School Affected By Economy. Shorter School Week, Higher School Fees, Is It Right?

Schools are going to start charging more for fees associated with it because of the current economy. Several school districts are also going to cut Monday off and have a 4 week school year, but may still cost more for the child to goto school!
I can understand that schools are having higher expenses as our current economy is falling apart, but if it’s the legal law that a child MUST goto school shouldn’t the government do more to help cut the costs for people? Students need new textbooks to study from, that is important because things change often. After all if the textbooks are old enough then Pluto will still be referred to as a planet (which it got demoted a while back, to small?).
My opinion is that parents are going through enough with the economy to survive as it is, they do not need school fees to raise as well, after all if they can not afford it they are bounced between the option of finding a way, or going to jail for the child not going to school. Also lets not forget that parents may have extra expenses due to finding a day care for Monday’s…
