Full Article Here

Edna Parker may have made the history books as worlds oldest person, but the down side is that she out lived both of her sons, and probably many others close to her. She was born April 20th, 1893 in central Indiana. She was recognized as the oldest living person by Guinness World Records after the passing of Yone Minagawa in 2007.

It was Thanksgiving, not Halloween!

First I just want to say Happy late Thanksgiving, hope everyone had a great one! Now, I got on this morning and Paris Hilton one again showed her stupidity. She dressed as if it was still Halloween! Check out the outfit of Latex, fingerless gloves and a cop hat…

I’m pretty sure those people with her just followed the trend of Halloween so she wouldn’t look as if she was alone. But then again, maybe they to thought Halloween was still here?

14 year old girl survies 4 months without heart!

Hello readers, I am on, well wouldn’t call it a vacation, but more of a trip so I haven’t been able to update as often. I am blogging from South Carolina today (usually blogging from Arkansas). Anyways to the intersting artcile I noticed!

This article tells about a 14 year old girl who survived four months without a beating heart, she had to have two heart transplants and there was a four month wait between the two. She lived 118 on a heart pump without a heart inside her!

“MIAMI – D’Zhana Simmons says she felt like a “fake person” for 118 days when she had no heart beating in her chest. “But I know that I really was here,” the 14-year-old said, “and I did live without a heart.”

Two TV shows on NBC canceled, and man finds Ancient Celtic coins

Man finds Ancient Celtic Coins- Using Metal Detector!

“NBC is pulling the plug on “My Own Worst Enemy” and “Lipstick Jungle” is what a Yahoo! TV article said yesterday. I’m not sure, but I may have heard the names before, but I never seen them.

Of course, with all of the television series out there now (good and bad), I am not shocked that a couple new ones didn’t quite work out. The article stated that “just under 5 million viewers each week” was watching. Now, if I was getting that each week on this site I would be selling so much ad space I could give away free stuff!

However, for a television show I don’t suppose that’s very good ratings, and I bet it’s because people where watching their favorite Television series already. There are only certain TV series that catch my attention, and in order to turn me away from those I am already watching.

The only series I really watch are House M.D, Fringe, Dexter, and NCIS, what series do you watch regularly?

Ancient Celtic Coins Found

I found another article in the news that caught my attention about a man who found ancient coins with a metal detector. The article stated, “AMSTERDAM, Netherlands – A hobbyist with a metal detector struck both gold and silver when he uncovered an important cache of ancient Celtic coins in a cornfield in the southern Dutch city of Maastricht.”

I’ve had a metal detector, and I’ve NEVER found anything even close to that, actually I never really found anything with it…

Guy gets $1.2 Million for getting hit in the testies!

First off the link is here. Secondly OUCH! Ok high point of this story is that the 19 year old (Lhyvann Felipe) won the lawsuit for $1,200,000 ($1.2M), while the low point for this 19 year old is that he was rammed in the nuts by a 60mph baseball while in a batting cage.

Now your probably wondering why Lhyvann Felipe was able to sue for that much because of this? Well, apparently an employee asked him to pick up the balls after the machine’s light had went off (indicating it was off), and as he was picking the balls up, the machine magically switched on and felt like targeting the man in a bad, bad way.

$160,000 of that was medical bill charges, who knows how much the lawyer walked away with, both of those professions will rob a person any chance they get, but this was what interested me for the day.
