Mitchell Funeral Home Guestbook for Christopher “Ryan” Beasley
I want to take a moment to make a post here for a friend who departed this world at only 22 years of age. I had not been able to make it out to visit in a while, but I seen Justin and his father Albert walking out of work Friday, the thought that he would be gone the next day never crossed my mind. We all know that one day we will all meet the same fate, but rarely does it register how soon that fate may come.
I did not really know Ryan, but I met him several times when I went to visit Justin. He seemed like a nice guy to know, made me laugh several times while I was visiting. I remember one of the last times I visited Justin, Wesley, Ryan, Albert, Vickie and I all sat around picking at the guitar, Ryan was back in the kitchen drinking a soda and didn’t fail once to name off the song being played (even though it wasn’t being played that well).
I woke up this morning and got on the computer like I do every morning, I checked YouTube to see what new videos my subscribers may have posted while I slept, and I found a video (below) of Sungha Jung playing Mad World. Besides that this young boy is playing amazingly, I thought it being posted this morning was ironic. I think the melody was a good way to start today off.
I would also like to add that if you knew Justin Southerly, was a friend, a family member, or just passed by him every now and then, use the comment section below to share your memories spent with Justin and/or Ryan.

I went to school and graduated with Justin and Ryan. when I heard the news about what happened I thought it was someones idea of a cruel joke.
One memory that stands out is how their group would stand in front of the food counter in the lobby and one day Justin decided to break dance at lunch. His main move was falling to the floor and having either Jeremy or Ryan spin him around.
I can still hear Ryan flirting with the teachers trying to get them to not schedule homework. It never worked, but it was hilarious to watch.
Justin was always the quiet one while Ryan was very outspoken. The would always go out of their way to make someone laugh.
They will forever be missed.

Thank you for sharing one of your memories of them. I wish I had known them back then, that would have been quite fun to watch! I could imagine Ryan flirting to get out of homework, I know I would have never had the nerve to do that myself (plus I was home schooled from 4th to 11th grade).
Thanks again for sharing the memory with everyone who visits this page. Feel free to share more if you want.
