Noticed a few things that peeked my interested today, an article on microwaving your toothbrush, and a couple videos on gaming news, will Microsoft be sued over X-box 360, and a new Wii already on the way?


Can microwaving your toothbrush be healthier?

I read this article about microwaving your toothbrush a couple times a week being healthier for you. They say while the average person changes toothbrushes every six months (which should be about three months), there is something that can be done in that time to help even more, yep microwaving your brush a couple times a week for 10 seconds.

Now it sounds a bit strange at first, but if you think about it microwaving the toothbrush does sound like it would be healthier. Why? Because, what is a microwave oven really doing? It’s emitting electromagnetic radiation, and radiation would quickly zap the germs and bacteria on the toothbrush after brushing. So start nuking the toothbrushes…


Microsoft’s possible lawsuit from X-box 360 players

Apparently X-box 360 fans have gotten fed up with Microsoft and all their faulty X-box’s. The x-box 360 has always had a much higher failure rate than it’s competitors (Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3), and the state of California has had enough!

They are saying that Microsoft may have knew about the faulty X-boxes, and still shipped them off. In the video below, it says that if the lawsuit is won, that Microsoft will have to return all profits made over the past three years, plus a state wide refund.

Now, all that sounds fine with me, I know someone who has had to wait several weeks to get his shipped, and fixed, then mailed back. However, in my opinion if the lawsuit is won they should not have to only give California the profits made over the past three years and refunds. This same problem happened all over the U.S, not just California, they should have to repay their loyal clients everywhere. I have never bought one, but I know if I had and California residents were refunded, I would want to be as well even if I lived in Maine!



Could there be a new Wii on the way?

There may be a new Wii console coming out as soon as 2011. While the Nintendo Wii is currently winning the console wars between Microsoft (X-box 360) and Sony (playstation 3), it still cannot stand up to the others in many ways, such as hard drive space and graphics. The video below explains some of the new features that the new Wii may have, including a new way to interact with the console (maybe even gloves and shoes like in movies?).

I’m not sure what to think about this, the Wii came out and cost like $250, which I’m not sure if there widely available on the shelf yet or not, but the last time I checked it was still hard to get a hold of one. So in my opinion, if your still not able to stock the stores with the current version, why plan on a new one already, if this keeps up eventually gamers will be low on cash come time for the new version and not be able to afford it because of buying the past versions.

They also say in the video that when contacted about a new version they just said “No Comment”, so it is still only a rumor, may or may not happen, but what do you think?
